Переписка с дилером в Швеции по поводу оптической системы построения Примо Стар.
Сказать честно, не очень понял, в итоге, "конечное/бесконечное", что за специальная коррекция (наверное, хру компенсируют в насадке). Или что-то не догоняю?

Dear Dmitry,
my apologies for not having been understood.
If you want to make use of the objectives from your Standard 14, I have to inform you, that they will mechanically fit into the W0,8" threads of the Primostar and eventually you can get an image in another focal plane than the 45mm focal plan of the Primostar objectives. The type of infinity corrected objectives used in the Primostar has been developed as a special solution for this microscope due to cost reasons and is not compatible with other optical systems within our product portfolio.
Unfortunately, neither are the objectives from the Standard 14 compatible to ICS and ICS2 objectives used in our other modern microscopes.
Nevertheless, there are some companies in the market which produce microscopes based on the optical system of objectives with mount W0,8" and tubelength 160mm.
Kind regards
Dieter Hemmann

Dear Dieter,
Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, I could not find information that would answer my question. It's very strange that you do not want to answer my question. I remember that some time ago, I had a question about a product company Motic. While I, too, offered contact with the dealer in Russia. But those dealers had no the qualifications. Then I bought a microscope another Chinese company. Now I would like to buy a microscope, which can use my old lenses for infinity. tubuslens 164mm. The question is about whether it would be possible to use them on your microscope Primo Star. In any case, I was more convenient to buy a microscope in a European country, but not in Russia.
Best regards
Dmitry

What a a special type of infinity corrected objectives is used in the Primostar microscope?

Dear Dmitry,
thanks for your updated information. As you state, the Standard 14 microscope, built until the mid 90s, contains objectives with a tube length of 160mm. ZEISS stopped the production of these lenses around 2000 after having introduced ICS optics also in all of its routine microscopes.
A special type of infinity corrected objectives is used in the Primostar microscope, so they are not compatible to other ICS nor 160mm-objectives.
For further information, also about where and how to purchase microscopes and their accessories, you can get in touch with our dealer in Russia, Optec

Dear Dieter,
thanks for your reply. I have an old microscope Standard 14, which tube finity (160mm). Now I'm studying different solutions for my lab. I need a budget microscope. I would use some of the old infinity objectives. Unfortunately, my objectives I use standard 14 can not. So my question is, will I be able to use other objectives Infinity on microscope Primo Star?
Thanks for the info
Best regards
Dmitry

Dear Dmitry,
Thank you for your inquiry to ZEISS.
In order to answer your question, some additional information is necessary:
ZEISS introduced a new optics concept, known as ICS (infinity colour corrected system) optics in 1986, which was since then the standard for all high end microscopes.
All Standard microscopes continued using objectives with tube length 160mm until 1998, when also all education and routine microscopes were equipped with ICS optics.
Therefore, I kindly ask you to provide the type of microscope you are using and we will be happy to answer your question.
We also recommend to use our onlineshop on
https://www.micro-shop.zeiss.com/ where you can aways find also technical assistance.
Hoping to be of service to you we kindly ask you to contact us again should you need further assistance.
Kind regards
Dieter Hemmann
